영상은 해외짘슈 덕질 당시에 충격과 공포를 주던 깽판장인 크리스 머레이의 지저스(크리스마스 특집 자막영상이었음). 유다와 멱살잡고 몸싸움 하다 내동댕이 치는 지저스는 또 처음이라. 역시 나사렛의 몽키스패너. 

 

 

1. 3대 명절인 유월절의 성찬식. 제사장들은 명절이어서 수도에 모인 민중들의 반란을 두려워하여 유월절 이후에 체포하기로 했다.

2. Jaded mandarin : 유다가 지저스를 어떻게 보고 있었는지 알 수 있는 구절.
mandarin은 과거 중국의 관료를 부르는 표현(청나라로 추측)이다. mandarin이라 불린 중국의 관료들은 가문과는 상관없이 현명하고 어진 이들이 추대되었다. 따라서 유다가 지저스를 jaded mandarin이라고 부르는 것은 한때는 능력 있는 위대한 지도자였던 스승이 이제는 지치고 무력한 관료처럼 되어버렸다는 걸 의미한다. heaven on their minds에서 불교의 유심정토를 부르더니 유다는 오리엔탈리즘에 심취한 것이 분명하다(는 뻘소리)


3. 존재감도 없었던 베드로, 요한, 야고보를 부른 이유는 [마가 14:33] 때문.
참고로 요한복음에선 최후의 만찬 전에 지저스가 제자들 발을 차례로 씻겼다고 나온다. 이건 왜 안 넣었을까 팀 라이스. (지저스는 깨끗한 것을 좋아하십니다 향유는 반드시 하루에 한 번 족욕도 다 같이 식전에 한 번... 이라고 남신님이 보고계셔 같은 드립을 쳤는데 어휴 이게 언제적 이야기야.)
참고로 JAMES는 야곱이 아니라 야고보. 야곱(JACOB)은 야채곱창 아니 아브라함의 손자로, 천사와 씨름하다 이긴 분이다. 12사도엔 대야고보 소야고보 골고루 있으나 야곱은 없다. 2015년때 야곱이라 번역된 걸 보고 이야 신성모독 별 거 있나. 그렇게 이 번역이 시작되었다고 한다.

MATTEW [26 : 20-35]
20 When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve.
21 And while they were eating, he said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”
22 They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely not I, Lord?”
23 Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.
24 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
25 Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus answered, “Yes, it is you.”
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
27 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
29 I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
30 When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
31 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “ ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
33 Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”
34 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”
35 But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

16 The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.

18 While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me—one who is eating with me.”
19 They were saddened, and one by one they said to him, “Surely you don’t mean me?”
20 “It is one of the Twelve,” he replied, “one who dips bread into the bowl with me.
21 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
22 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take it; this is my body.”
23 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
24 “This is my blood of the[c] covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them.
25 “Truly I tell you, I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you.
18 For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
21 But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table.
22 The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed, but woe to that man who betrays him.”
23 They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.
31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.
32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
33 But he replied, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.”
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
35 Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered.
36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
37 It is written: `And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”
38 The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.” “That is enough,” he replied.

14 시간이 되어서, 예수께서 자리에 앉으시니, 사도들도 그와 함께 앉았다.
15 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “내가 고난을 당하기 전에, 너희와 함께 이 유월절 음식을 먹기를 참으로 간절히 바랐다.

31 ”시몬아, 시몬아, 들어라! 사탄이 밀처럼 체질하려고 너희를 요구하였다.

35 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. “내가 너희를, 돈주머니와 자루와 신발이 없이 내보냈을 때에, 너희에게 부족한 것이 있더냐?” 그들은 대답하기를 “없었습니다” 하였다.
36 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “이제는 돈주머니가 있는 사람은 그것을 챙겨라. 또 자루도 그렇게 하여라. 그리고 칼이 없는 사람은, 옷을 팔아서 칼을 사거라.
37 내가 너희에게 말한다. ‘그는 무법자들 속에 끼어서 같은 무리로 몰렸다’고 기록된 이 성경 말씀이, 내게서 반드시 이루어져야 한다. 과연, 나에 관하여 기록한 일은 이루어지고 있다.”
38 제자들이 예수께 말하였다. “주님, 보십시오, 여기에 칼 두 자루가 있습니다.” 예수께서 그들에게 “넉넉하다” 하고 말씀하셨다.



JOHN [13 : 2-38]
2 The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus.
3 Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God;
4 so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist.
5 After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”
7 Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”
8 No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.
9 “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”
10 Jesus answered, “A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”
11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
18 “I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill the scripture: `He who shares my bread has lifted up his heel against me.’
19 “I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am He.

21 After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me.”
22 His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant.
23 One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.
24 Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, “Ask him which one he means.”
25 Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, “Lord, who is it?”
26 Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.
27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. “What you are about to do, do quickly,” Jesus told him,
28 but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him.
29 Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor.
30 As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.

36 Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.
37 Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”
38 Then Jesus answered, “Will you really lay down your life for me? I tell you the truth, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!

2 저녁을 먹을 때에, 악마가 이미 시몬의 아들인 가룟 사람 유다의 마음 속에 예수를 팔아 넘길 생각을 집어 넣었다.
3 예수께서는 아버지께서 모든 것을 자기 손에 맡기신 것과 자기가 하나님께로부터 왔다가 하나님께로 돌아간다는 것을 아시고,
4 잡수시던 자리에서 일어나서 겉옷을 벗고, 수건을 가져다가 허리에 두르셨다.
5 그리고 대야에 물을 담아다가, 제자들의 발을 씻으시고, 그 두른 수건으로 닦아 주기 시작하셨다.
6 시몬 베드로에게 이르셨을 때에, 베드로가 예수께 “주님, 주께서 내 발을 씻으시렵니까?” 하고 말하였다.
7 예수께서 그에게 대답하셨다. “내가 하는 일을 지금은 네가 알지 못하나, 나중에는 알게 될 것이다.”
8 베드로가 다시 예수께 말하였다. “아닙니다. 내 발은 절대로 씻지 못하십니다.” 예수께서 대답하셨다. “내가 너를 씻어 주지 않으면, 너는 나와 상관이 없다.”
9 그러자 시몬 베드로는 “주님, 내 발뿐만 아니라, 손과 머리까지도 씻어 주십시오” 하고 말하였다.
10 예수께서 그에게 대답하셨다. “이미 목욕한 사람은 온 몸이 깨끗하니, 발 밖에는 씻을 필요가 없다. 너희는 깨끗하다. 그러나 다 그런 것은 아니다.”
11 예수께서는 자기를 팔아 넘길 사람을 알고 계셨다. 그러므로 ‘너희가 다 깨끗한 것은 아니다’ 하고 말씀하신 것이다.
18 나는 너희 모두를 가리켜서 말하는 것이 아니다. 나는 내가 택한 사람들을 안다. 그러나 ‘나의 빵을 먹은 자가 나를 배반하였다’ 한 성경 말씀이 이루어질 것이다.
19 내가 그 일이 일어나기 전에 너희에게 미리 말하는 것은, 그 일이 일어날 때에, 너희로 하여금 내가 바로 그임을 믿게 하려는 것이다.

21 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 나서, 마음이 괴로우셔서, 드러내 놓고 말씀하셨다. “내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 너희 가운데 하나가 나를 팔아 넘길 것이다.”
22 제자들은 예수께서 누구를 두고 하시는 말씀인지 몰라서, 서로 바라다보았다.
23 제자들 가운데 한 사람, 곧 예수께서 사랑하시는 제자가 바로 예수의 품에 기대어 앉아 있었다.
24 시몬 베드로가 그에게 고갯짓을 하여, 누구를 두고 하시는 말씀인지 여쭈어 보라고 하였다.
25 그 제자가 예수의 가슴에 바싹 기대어 “주님, 그가 누구입니까?” 하고 물었다.
26 예수께서 대답하시기를 “내가 이 빵조각을 적셔서 주는 사람이 바로 그 사람이다” 하시고 빵조각을 적셔서 시몬의 아들 가룟 사람 유다에게 주셨다.
27 그가 빵조각을 받은 뒤에, 사탄이 그에게 들어갔다. 그 때에 예수께서 유다에게 말씀하셨다. “네가 할 일을 어서 하여라.”
28 그러나 거기 앉아 있는 사람들 가운데서 아무도, 예수께서 그에게 무슨 뜻으로 그런 말씀을 하셨는지를 알지 못하였다.
29 어떤 이들은, 유다가 돈자루를 맡고 있으므로, 예수께서 그에게 명절에 그 일행이 쓸 물건을 사라고 하셨거나, 또는 가난한 사람들에게 무엇을 주라고 말씀하신 것으로 생각하였다.
30 유다는 그 빵조각을 받고서 곧 나갔다. 때는 밤이었다.

36 시몬 베드로가 예수께 물었다. “주님, 어디로 가십니까?” 예수께서 대답하셨다. “내가 가는 곳에 네가 지금은 따라올 수 없으나, 나중에는 따라올 수 있을 것이다.”
37 베드로가 말하였다. “주님, 왜 지금은 내가 따라갈 수 없습니까? 나는 주님을 위하는 일이면 목숨이라도 바치겠습니다.”
38 예수께서 대답하셨다. “네가 나를 위하여 네 목숨이라도 바치겠다는 말이냐? 내가 진정으로 진정으로 너에게 말한다. 닭이 울기 전에, 너는 세 번 나를 모른다고 할 것이다.”
