MATTEW [27 : 45-50]
45 From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”
-- which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”
48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it
on a stick, and offered it to Jesus to drink.
49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”
50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

45 낮 열두 시부터 어둠이 온 땅을 덮어서, 오후 세 시까지 계속되었다.
46 세 시쯤에 예수께서 큰소리로 부르짖어 말씀하시기를 “엘리 엘리 레마 사박다니?” 하셨다. 그것은 “나의 하나님, 나의 하나님, 어찌하여 나를 버리셨습니까?” 하는 뜻이다.
47 거기에 서 있는 사람들 가운데 몇이 이 말을 듣고서 “이 사람이 엘리야를 부르고 있다” 하고 말하였다.
48 그러자 그들 가운데서 한 사람이 곧 달려가서 해면을 가져다가, 신 포도주에 적셔, 갈대에 꿰어서, 그에게 마시게 하였다.
49 그러나 다른 사람들은 “어디 엘리야가 와서, 그를 구하여 주나 두고 봅시다” 하고 말하였다.
50 예수께서는 다시 큰소리로 외치시고 나서, 숨을 거두셨다.

 

MARK [15 : 33-41]
33 At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”
-- which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
35 When some of those standing near heard this, they said, “Listen, he’s calling Elijah.”
36 One man ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a stick, and offered it to
Jesus to drink. “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to take him down,” he
said.
37 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last.
38 The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
39 And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw
how he died, he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”
40 Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene,
Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.
41 In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other
women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.

33 제 육시가 되매 온 땅에 어두움이 임하여 제 구시까지 계속하더니
34 제 구시에 예수께서 크게 소리지르시되 엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이를 번역하면 나의 하나님 나의 하나님 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는 뜻이라
35 곁에 섰던 자 중 어떤이들이 듣고 가로되 보라 엘리야를 부른다 하고
36 한 사람이 달려가서 해융에 신포도주를 머금게 하여 갈대에 꿰어 마시우고 가로되 가만 두어라 엘리야가 와서 저를 내려 주나 보자 하더라
37 예수께서 큰 소리를 지르시고 운명하시다
38 이에 성소 휘장이 위로부터 아래까지 찢어져 둘이 되니라
39 예수를 향하여 섰던 백부장이 그렇게 운명하심을 보고 가로되 이 사람은 진실로 하나님의 아들이었도다 하더라
40 멀리서 바라보는 여자들도 있는데 그 중에 막달라 마리아와 또 작은 야고보와 요세의 어머니 마리아와 또 살로메가 있었으니

41 이들은 예수께서 갈릴리에 계실 때에 좇아 섬기던 자요 또 이 외에도 예수와 함께 예루살렘에 올라온 여자가 많이 있었더라

 

LUKE [23 : 44-46 ]
44 It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the
ninth hour,
45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.
46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”
When he had said this, he breathed his last.

44 낮 열두시쯤 되었는데, 어둠이 온 땅을 덮어서, 오후 세 시까지 계속되었다.
45 해는 빛을 잃고, 성전의 휘장은 한가운데가 찢어졌다.
46 예수께서는 큰소리로 부르짖으시고 “아버지, 내 영혼을 아버지의 손에 맡깁니다” 하고

JOHN [19 : 28-30]
28 Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be
fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”
29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a
stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips.
30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his
head and gave up his spirit.

28 그 뒤에 예수께서는 모든 일이 이루어졌음을 아시고, 성경 말씀을 이루시려고 “목마르다” 하고 말씀하셨다.
29 거기에 신 포도주가 가득 담긴 그릇이 있었는데, 사람들은 해면을 그 신 포도주에 듬뿍 적셔서, 히솝 풀 대에다가 꿰어 예수의 입에 대었다.
30 예수께서 신 포도주를 드시고 “다 이루었다” 하고 말씀하신 뒤에, 머리를 떨어뜨리시고 숨을 거두셨다.
